Now, here’s the cool part. When they tested these enzymes on special plants, they found they could get 30% more sugar out of them! That’s a lot more than regular plants. Liu and his team were really surprised by this result.
Their next plan is to see if these magic enzymes can work their wonders on other types of grassy plants like sorghum and bamboo. This could be a game-changer for making even more biofuels.
